TEBookConverter, as its name points out, can convert eBooks from one format to another. Load a supported format into the application and it will quickly convert it to the format you desire. Lots of formats are supported for the input. You can load CBZ, CBR, CBC, CHM, DJVU, DOCX, EPUB, FB2, HTML, HTMLZ, LIT, LRF, MOBI, ODT, PDF, PRC, PDB, PML, RB, RTF, SNB, TCR, TXT, and TXTZ files.
The output options are grouped into three categories: Brand, Device, and Format. From the Brand dropdown menu you can select Amazon, Apple, Kobo, Sony, and other brands. After you select a brand, the Device dropdown menu allows you to select a device associated with that brand. For example, if you pick Apple as the Brand, you can choose iPad as a device. And the Format dropdown menu allows you to pick an output format, like PDF for example.
Using TEBookConverter is an incredibly simple process. First up, you must load one or multiple eBooks into the application; as previously mentioned, lots of formats are supported for the input. Next up, you must set up the conversion parameters; pick the output format, pick a brand and device, select the output directory, set the parallel conversion count. And last but not least, you must launch the conversion process and wait for it to complete.
TEBookConverter comes with a built-in reader. After you load an eBook into TEBookConverter, you can use the built-in reader to open the book and, well, read through it. I find this function to be quite useful.
TEBookConverter is free software that uses Calibre, an open source e-book library manager. If you want to, you can make a donation. You can donate to TEBookConverter or to Calibre.
I don’t see what’s not to like about TEBookConverter. It is portable, it is free, it is very easy to use, it provides support for lots of formats, and it even features a built-in eBook reader.
Pros
